Following the annual success of the “National GIS Applications” conference, in 2026, the University of Science and Education – The University of Danang will host the National Scientific Conference “GIS Applications 2026” with the theme: “GIS Applications in Territorial Planning, Disaster Management, and Climate Change Adaptation”.

Conference Objectives:

  • Provide a prestigious national academic forum to exchange and share research results on GIS, GPS, Remote Sensing, Big Data, and AI in resource management, environment, territorial planning, and sustainable development.
  • Promote interdisciplinary connections and cooperation between educational institutions, research institutes, government agencies, and businesses in spatial data science and digital transformation.
  • Enhance the capacity of applying geospatial technology in teaching, scientific research, and state management in Vietnam.

  • GIS, GPS, and Remote Sensing in resource management, environment, and sustainable development;
  • Geospatial technology, Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI), and digital transformation;
